Review After One Camping Trip
I purchased this tent for these features: ability to stand upright inside, windows with a rainfly (instead of it being fully mesh with a rainfly that prevents the air flow and limits vision), and the front porch. This tent met my requirements 100%. Three people could lay in it, but gear would have to be stored in the porch. Two of us fit comfortably which is what I wanted. I gave it 3 stars because of the setup. I used this one time for a weekend camping trip. The poles and sleeves are color coded. That is nice. When putting the poles into the prongs on the base. it was a little too tight. One of the poles splintered causing fiberglass to be exposed and the fiberglass went into our hands. I had to wrap it in tape and be extra careful when taking it out to not let it happen again. There was also a hole in one of the sleeves. I really wish the issue with the pole didn't happen. I thought this was an excellent tent for all the reasons stated above.

Really nice that I can stand up in this tent. Beautiful, big screened porch. But I returned it because it was a pain to set up and then kept collapsing.
Trial setup in the yard went really well. Then I got to the campsite. First, the stakes would not stay put: I was dealing with sandy soil over a mesh of tree roots & rocks. No problem, i thought; i brought extra large stakes that grip really well in this terrain. However, the tent stakedown rings would pop off the stakes whenever the tent shifted, which happened a lot as 3 of us struggled to get the poles situated. As soon as we thought it was up, all the rings popped off the stakes and the entire tent collapsed. No way was i sleeping in this thing. Fortunately, I brought a backpacking tent as a backup. Really disappointed this didn't work out.
