I got this for a last minute trip and couldn't get my hands on the other tent I have in storage.
I was stressed since I didn't have time to make sure it was ok before the trip, but this was really a nice tent.
It went up easily with just one person. It has a nice additional rain flap. and there's a nice little storage bag under the window to put something small like your phone or eyeglasses so they don't get buried under camping gear. We actually had a pretty bad storm, and this stayed relatively dry except for at the door and I'm still not sure where the water was getting in but it was right at the door lip of the tent. I just threw a rolled towel there and we were comfy. I took this down in about 20 minutes and was supper excited that it actually fit into its carry case. The cases are usually to small to accoBBY01-806941318534modate the awkward folds that happen in real life camping. I would not hesitate to buy this again.
Having said this, there are a few things I did not like. The windows did not allow you to zip them closed. While the screens had an awning time cover over them on the outside to keep the rain out, they did not zip closed inside, and the windows go almost to the floor. It was pretty cold at night down to 45 and I had trouble staying warm enough with the cold air blowing in right by my face. Also, there is a little mat on the outside of the tent which is nice but it wasn't heavy enough to lay flat on its own. This could have been rectified with the smallest of loops and a small tent stake that could push flat to the ground to hold it in place. I sewed one on when I got home but could have really made this a 5 star tent with those little extras.
As far as the size: I believe it says this will accommodate 4 people and it would, if all you do is climb in and sleep but that would be unrealistic if you wanted to keep your camp gear for each person in there or if you were using air mattresses. Id say maybe 3 at best, more comfortably 2. I like more room in case you have bad weather and get stuck inside for some time. Hope this helps. Happy camping.
