Smaller Jetboil System
This is a smaller version of the standard Jetboil system. The overall construction is great and everything stacks within itself. It’s all contained in a single unit.  I gave it a test and placed 16oz of water in the pot and it came to a boil in under two minutes. I did not use full power at first; I gradually increased it within the first 15 seconds. I did NOT use the provided lid- I wanted to simulate what I would do in the field- I most likely wouldn’t use it because it snapped on and I didn’t want to chance burning myself.  Anyways, it boiled quickly and was easy to use. I’m not sure if this is a deal breaker for some people, but my standard sized isobutane fuel does not fit inside of the pot. I know a lot of backpackers that like everything to nest inside of each other, so if that’s you, you’ll need to find an alternative isobutane container that will work.

    PRO – JetBoil has made great portable stoves for years, and this offering is more like an entire system dedicated to heating liquids or just boiling water. Bought this to make coffee or warm up soups in the event of power failures.
    Nothing will boil water faster. Excellent stability with orange plastic feet attached. Entire system with extra fuel cans fits in a small box. Excellent controls.
    CON – On the expensive side, you pay for the original item.

    This item is great! have used it to warm up coffee from a themos, in less than 2 minutes the coffee was boiling. Mainly going to use this in goose and duck blinds while hunting to warm up coffee and bullion. I have ordered additional items like the 15 liter crock and the stabilizer for the crock, which fit pretty well. Its lightweight, and size allow me to pack this in my hunting pack with other essential items. If you are in an area that frequents snow storms and power outages, this should work great in a survival pack.
