As an ex-flight attendant, Gemma saw firsthand how difficult it is to get good quality sleep when traveling, witnessing countless passengers struggle to find comfort during flights. But it wasn’t until some years later that she came up with the innovative J-Pillow…
“The eureka moment for the J-pillow travel pillow came during a night flight with my family. I was abruptly woken by my head jerking forward, while my children were squabbling over whose turn it was to sit by the window to rest their heads.”
“What was needed and how could I solve this problem? Then it came to me…a travel pillow that would support your head and neck so effectively that it would feel like you had a window seat every time! When I returned home, I bought a second-hand sewing machine and set to work on making the prototype”.
